VYTLEAthlete testing for Kelly Pardiwalla

Privacy policy

Vytle is the software Kelly Pardiwalla uses to record fitness testing for the young athletes he coaches. This page says exactly what is held, who can see it, and how to have it removed.

What we hold

About each athlete:

  • Name, date of birth, sex, sport, playing position and age group
  • The academy or club they train with, and where they train
  • Height, weight, and results from physical tests such as sprints and jumps
  • Growth measurements — standing height, sitting height and weight — where a parent has sent them

If a parent gives a contact number on the growth form, it is stored so the coach can check an unusual reading with them. It is optional and used for nothing else.

Why we hold it

To track how an athlete is developing and to shape their training. Children mature at very different rates, and comparing a result against others of the same age and stage is the only way to read it properly. Growth measurements exist so that a temporary dip during a growth spurt is recognised as growth rather than mistaken for lost fitness.

Who can see it

  • Kelly Pardiwalla, who does the coaching and testing.
  • The academy or club, for the athletes they are responsible for, in the form of a report.
  • A parent or guardian, for their own child, in the form of a report shared with them.

It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to train any machine learning model. No one outside the list above is given access.

What this is not

None of this is a medical assessment and none of it should be treated as medical advice. The growth figures are an estimate produced by a published equation from height and weight, used for planning training. They are not a diagnosis, not a prediction of adult height, and not a substitute for speaking to a doctor.

Google data

The coach's testing records live in Google Sheets. With his permission this system reads those specific spreadsheets so results do not have to be typed twice. It requests read-only access, it never writes to or deletes anything in his Drive, and it does not read files other than the spreadsheets he has connected. That access can be withdrawn at any time from his Google account, and doing so stops the reading immediately.

Vytle's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data read from Google Sheets is used only to populate the coach's own athlete records described on this page. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred to anyone else except as set out above.

How long it is kept

Testing history is kept for as long as the athlete trains with Kelly Pardiwalla and for a period afterwards, because the value of the record is in the comparison over years. Ask and it will be deleted sooner.

Your choices

A parent or guardian can ask at any time to see everything held about their child, to have something corrected, or to have it deleted. Ask the coach or your academy contact. Growth measurements sent through the form can be withdrawn the same way, and providing them is voluntary — a child's place and training are unaffected by declining.

Changes

If what is collected changes materially, this page changes with it and the date below moves.
